It says your audio service is not running, for whatever reason. Either that or you chose the wrong device for desktop audio in audio settings.

That was exactly it, I figured it out myself by accident. Thanks for confirming it though. The problem was with a headset I was using, it was being fed through a control and for whatever reason it caused it. I replaced the headset (garbage anyway) and the controller. Thanks for the timely response, and I love OBS, easiest software I've ever used.
