Hi everybody!

I was recording Minecraft as usual, didn't change any obs settings or anything else, but when I went to edit only 1 audio track appeared! I usually have two, one for desktop and one for mic, and the missing one is the desktop one.

I went back to check on the original mkv and I cannot hear the desktop track there either, so I'm aware it's probably gone for good, but I still would like to understand why it's not recording it, seen how I haven't touched any settings?

I tried recording again, I could see the desktop audio bar moving in obs, but still no desktop audio could be heard in the mkv.

I triple checked everything and all obs settings are still good. Output is set as advanced, two separate tracks are selected both there and on advanced audio settings. Again, these settings have worked over and over for a year now, what am I doing wrong?

Someone from reddit helped me solve this so I'll post the solution here in case anybody comes across this:

The track was there, it's just no media player plays all tracks at the same time only the first one it finds. I was baffled I never realised this was the case. You can check if all tracks are there through VLC. Once I realised the track was there, it was just a matter of figuring out why it wasn't showing up on Premiere Pro.
