Question / Help Desktop Audio Sound??

So I am fairly new to streaming, only doing it a few times on Steam when my friends are trying to help me with something, but recently I wanted to start using Twitch since it easier with my friends Mac. However, whenever I try to even preview the Skyrim stream I want to do, it just tells me "Cannot initialize desktop audio sound, more info in the log file." When I check the log file, it doesn't say anything about audio, it says I don't have a source or I have something else running that's causing a hook conflict. Any help?

your audio device you selected is that from VAC? change it to default

I'm getting the same problem, for weeks, can't find a solution at the moment. Will have to try an alternative streaming option.

The suggestion that all you have to do is start the game after you've started streaming, only works in some cases. Spotify won't play with sound, I'm loading Steam games after stream begins, they just play with no sound.
