We use OBS to record sessions and this issue does not appear to happen all the time.

About 45 minutes into session (reports are later into session), the video begins to echo, still bearable, however sounds like a concert hall or a very acoustic place.

Here's the log I believe it is:

Using touch screen monitors (which have integrated cams, but don't use them)
We use Logitech c930e webcams for video and sound, only 1 source.
Choose setting for output to stream audio only.

Thank you for your response. We have about 20 of the above described setups and would like a resolution as soon as possible.

Are you actually using speakers for your audio output on the PC or are you using headphones?

usings PC speakers with the webcam positioned wrong can cause feedback or looping of audio which would explain everything.

Recommendation: move the webcam where it cant pick up the sounds from the speakers OR lower the speakers output volume on the speakers itself.

Another point: Set your webcam to 1280x720 instead of FullHD to lessen the load on the Cam, your computer and the USB connection. We had all sort of strange errors with logitech webcams running in 1920x1080.

Since you are recording in 720p anyway you should not notice any degrade in qualty.

dping: we actually mute the speakers during recording. The video is watched afterwards.

H4ndy: thanks. We can try that. It just seems strange it's inconsistant and not he entire time.

Sorry, but these are really short sessions only with a few encoded frames (less than a second).
They also still show the webcam to be used in 1080p. Do you have the correct log? If you did not close OBS after the session, you need to upload the current log, not the last log.

Your mic is enabled in two places at once in OBS. In your webcam source properties, and in your audio settings. Disable it in one of those places to fix the issue (presumably in the webcam source properties).
