Hello nice thread.

It is very intertesting.

I have 5700G on my dedicated streaming pc and it does 7000kbit slow me=umh 936p

Did you try 936 slower 7000 kbit on 5950x

I read that more threads can give worse image quality on x264. I have 3090 on my main pc. While nvenc is good it is not great..

Eposvox and other youtubers mislead people woth selected scenes where x264 falls behind. If you use heavy vegeation high motion games nvenc starts effing up things.

It would be a dream to get 5950x on my streaming pc do some PBO2 UV CO and try slower lol

If 5700g can pull slow i am sure 5950x can do slower

Also me=umh drastically increases image quality. Thats why i add that to my flags.

I can do slow 1080p no ME UMH 60fps 7000kbit on 5700g. Passes all spin tests but it looks blurry.

My conc. is , problem is the internet speeds. Both watchers and streamsers dont ahve amazing fiber connection.

If i pushed 15000 kbit slow 1080p it would look amazing...

5700G seems enough for my 1 viewer lol. Im a pc builder and old overclocker(now i do PBO and UV) so it is a hobby for me

You can check my latest videos on twtich my hande is same as user name.

The video called test Blue is 936p canvas with all flags x264 slow
Mucles is no Me umh 1090p canvas lancoz 936p

While many people say dont use rescalw output use the video settings ,i find it to be untrue maybe because i use an apu system. Idk. If i use 1080p canvas ans 936p rescale it is ok but i use 1080p to 936p lancoz encoding gets overloaded.

It is pretty amazing to see 5700G a cheap cpu with b450 mobo with pbo2 14490 mhz c23 mc score can do x264 slow 1080p..

Also guys my main pc is 1440p. I realised if i do duplicate screens to send identical image to cap card there is a little tearing lol.

But no fps loss but if i do extended monitors and obs projection my 67 fps goes to 60 in w3 next gen huge drop. Actually nvenv + obs is almost at the same loss in 1 pc build lol.

P7 on my twitch are nvenc you can see how it failed in high veg lol.

On phone all videos look good tho.

1 issue woth 936p canvas is image loses some definition and sharpness whereas if you went with 1080p canvas and then downscaled to 936p.

OP can you test 5950x slower 936p no flags x264 slower 1080p canvas 936p lancoz playing witcher 3 in highest vegetation settings and send a link here of the test stream. Thanks!!!!
