Because of the Covid-19, I'm going to be doing some live streams for local bands. I'm new to the live stream scene, but have been an audio engineer here in Austin, TX for 6 years.
I have a Presonus RM16AI mixer, sending an audio feed to my laptop, and will be streaming from my laptop.

- Should I go with an XLR to USB audio interface, or XLR to 3.5mm jack to the Mic input on my laptop?
- Should I get an adapter to attenuate the output from my mixer?
If so, any suggestions on a not too pricy interface?
