Question / Help Dazzle DVC 100 Issues Back Screen

I'm also having this issue, I just downloaded this software and finally worked out how to get my Dazzle DVC 100 working on it, but when it finally worked I got no visual (black screen) and no audio. I'm assuming that there might be work around I need for the audio for it. I'm trying to record my PS2 playing a PS1 game.



I'll also include the log for the session of me trying to get the cap card working

Make sure you dont have the dative software for the dazzle running at the same time. cap cards can only be captured once. separate from OBS, do you see and hear anything from the native software from Dazzle? never used it but the concept of all cap cards are the same

Nope, also I don't have the software it comes with as I brought it of a friend, all I have are it and the drivers.

Well you kind of want it installed to see if its working through the native software. If it is, then you know a setting in OBS needs to be changed (i.e. resolution, etc), if its not working in the native software, there might be a problem with your cap card, OR its not compatible with OBS.

I do not have a good solution for you at the moment other than just making sure that your resolution and Hz/fps that is coming from the dazzle, match up with what is in the capture properties. Also, are you running interlaced?

I do not know, I just got obs and I've been having fun and games setting it up

Ok I've altered the resolutions to match, I think, but I'm still getting a black screen

you might need to deinterlace if your device is running interlaced. play around with all the options. you cant really break anything, but you might find a solution. if you can't get back to default, just either reference your screen shot or rebuild your video capture device.
