Question / Help DayZ .60 update = OBS Black stream/recording

Yesterday Bohemia released a very much anticipated patch to DayZ that included a new renderer. Now Dayz records with audio but a black blank screen.

I have updated my video drivers and that doesn't help. I have tried OBS studio as well, same results. Audio but no video.

I can record/stream other games as before with no issues. Just can't see video with DayZ, so I am assuming this is related to the renderer.

Anticheat hooking has been enabled as it always has. Have tried turning off and on all kinds of settings, including disabling anticheat hooking, and still same result.

Any ideas to get this to work?

EDIT:: Oh ya, for got to mention graphics. Using a R9 380, of course with newest drivers as specified above.

I have the same problem! I figured out Antialiasing is the evildoer! Try to disable it ingame, it should work! If it doesn't work then delete your DayZ-folder in "documents" (don't forget a backup) and restart your game. But this isn't the final solution, it is just a way to handle with the actual problem.

Nope. Tried both. Even with a clean Dayz settings folder, still a black blank screen.

Again, it still works with every other game, and I can revert Dayz back to .59 stable and it works fine and I can still record with no issues.

Definitely an issue with the new render.

So you are able to record using the game capture and NOT monitor capture in .60?

I can use game capture without antialiasing, yes!

Another way is to set DayZ to "windowed" and press ctrl + alt + enter in the main menu for "windowed borderless" and then use monitor capture. I tried it yesterday and it worked for me.

You are using Studio then. The classic OBS won't work with game capture at all, no matter the settings.

The only way classic will work is to go non-fullscreen and use monitor capture, which is not an option for me. I refuse to play windowed and shouldn't have to. There is also no way to go borderless without hassle, so yet another reason not to use windowed mode.
