so i decided to start up some dark souls last night and my friend asked me to stream it so he could watch and my game capture crashes the game. i have streamed dark souls before( yes i am using DSfix, and yes i do know the problems associated with it and obs) i tried disabling steam overlay as that was what i usually do when i run into this issue to fix it, no luck still crashing the game. Window/ Monitor capture gives me the white screen and i have no idea how to get around that. I realize this is a rather old issue and tbh i dont really care if anyone will help me find a way to fix it or not, I just cant sit here and screw around with it anymore, so i figured i might as well post it up here for anyone who wants to look into it, maybe you will have more luck than i did.

Sorry, I was exhausted at the time of the post and needed to go and sleep, I may have forgotten to upload the log file :X Here you go! https://gist.github.com/c7bd53548e5d2156baed Also its worth noting I think that the multiple monitor set up I have running is only off one graphics card while my secondary monitor is connected through my motherboard VGA port. I am not using crossfire.

I have read around that for many people, turning off Steam Overlay fixes this issue and allows Game Capture. Give it a shot! It didn't work for me, but I didn't try much troubleshooting beyond this.

Ah...that explains the Window Capture problems. If you are using both the iGPU and your dedicated GPU to handle monitors, Window Capture stops working properly. Only option is Game Capture (which is incompatible with DSFix) or unplugging the third monitor to disable the iGPU.
