Hi,
Recently I reinstalled windows 11 because I bluescreened and I thought well. Clean install.
But, i was longing for more frames. Especially in games like CS and Less latency.
So I did what the common man might do and Google "How to reduce Latency, Incresse FPS for CS2" reduced the windows telemetry too a bit.
But while I had done that. I had followed a tutorial somewhere where It told me to Enable Disable Full Screen Optimizations. Tragic experience.
Anyway here is the fix and also apologize If I am not in the right thread, I would very much appriciate the guidance I am just trying to help the next person and didn't do my full research. Sorry.
if you experience lags, or obs does not capture cs2 at all. (maybe you want that
too. ) but. if cs2 lags on game capture untick disable full screen optimization. if its ticked. :)
Instructions
Untick Disable Full screen reselution. -> cs2 steam library -> steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\game\bin\win64, right click cs2.exe, properties, Compatibility untick
BTW- Running the game on
same place Compatibility. removes the need for -allow_third_party_software
I am not sure you want to do that though, i just found this out while testing
