Question / Help CS:GO won't work

I am trying to record a CS;GO (couter strike global offensive) video to my youtube channel. I have adjusted the settings and stuff, and tried to prewiew, but it's just black. Do i need two screens, one for the game, and one for the OBS? Please help, I really want to use this program cause it is really good, i think. So i just want a answer so i can record CS:GO
