Question / Help Cs:Go Stops working when i start OBS

Hello from Norway!

I'm having trouble with starting the stream.
I have used OBS without trouble before but now i simply can't get it to work.
I have done the following : Add scene > Game capture > Counter strike:Global Offensive.
If i as much as try to preview the stream, Cs:go stops working and this happens to all of the other games to..
I have reconfigured the settings just right but when i start streaming or preview the stream the game stops working.
There is no problem with previewing Images or monitor capture or anything of that but the Games simpky stops working.
Is there something i have overlooked or?

Help would be appreciated!

I have the same issue.

My pc specs:

Graphic card: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 980
Processor: Intel® Core™ i7-4790K
Ram: G.skill TridentX 16GB 2666Mhz


I've uninstalled CS GO and OBS, but does not help.

Anybody can help ?

Same issue here.
Though I have Razer Synapse and have followed previously posted advice about completely disabling it and terminating anything to do with Razer Synapse, ie. rzcefrenderprocess.exe, RzSynapse.exe, RazerIngameEngine.exe, RzStatsManager.exe, as well as the GameScannerService.exe process and service.

Fresh install of CSGO and OBS with a brand new OBS profile/settings.

PC Specs:

  • CPU: i7-6700k SkyLake 4.0GHz
  • Motherboard: Z170 Pro Gamer
  • GPU: GTX 970 4GB
  • Ram: 32GB DDR4
  • Storage:
  • SSD: 450GB
  • HybridSSD: 4TB (Steam and CSGO installed on the hybrid)
  • OS: Windows 10 Pro
This is a brand new pc build as well as a fresh install of Windows.

I'm using the latest build of OBS + Browser plugin, available as an installer on the downloads page.
