Question / Help Cs go lag

With other single player games there seems to be no fps lag but with cs go and on all low settings I run at 120fps which is fine but there seems to be some input lag. Plz help

I have a gtx 770 2GB with I5 4670k

If I dont run obs there is no lag. Although It might be because im loosing packets or lagging via internet considering I only have that problem while streaming multiplayer games not single.

using the fast preset on only 1.25 downscale is pretty massive especially if you are only running on an i5


change it back to veryfast also downscale even further down to 1.5 (1280x720) and make sure you have -high set in csgo startup properties and you limit your fps with +fps_max 120 can also be typed in @ csgo startup properties

Ah, didn't notice that. Thanks for pointing that out. Yea, change that preset back to veryfast. Even on a fast CPU, changing the preset can really eat up CPU.

I just did the downscale and fast preset but for start up do i type -high -fps_max 120 in set launch options on steam?

What does minimize net impact do? reduce image quality?

It's a network option. It's to reduce the impact of the stream transmission on other network applications on your computer, has nothing to do with quality or anything, it doesn't even alter the contents of your transmission, just alters the rate in which it's sent.
