Question / Help Cropped Image in Preview and Stream

I stream FSX with 3 different aircraft.

Two of these aircraft A2A Stratocruiser and the Just Flight DC6 stream as expected - i.e the full game image appears in the preview and the stream with just a small black space at the top and bottom - the game image is not cropped

The 3rd aircraft, a Just Flight DC3 behaves differently. The preview and stream have 10% to 15% of the TOP of the game image missing (cropped out) and I have a large black space at the bottom. The black space at the bottom is roughly the same height as the missing portion at the top. I have a photo the illustrates the issues
1 = B337 game image
2 = B377 game image as it appears in preview/steam
3 = DC3 game image
4 = DC3 game image in preview/stream . the area within the red rectangle is what appears in preview and stream. As you can see the black band at the bottom is same size of the missing portion of the game image at the top

are the different planes using different screen resolutions? post your logfile from the help menu.

Under the game capture, you can select "stretch image to fit" which will help and make sure that you are recording/streaming in a 16:9 aspect ratio.

dping,
thanks for your reply. After my original post I discovered that by clicking on the "EDIT SCENE" button the I could grab the preview image (it has a red border with a tiny rectangle in each corner) I was able to drag the image down, decreasing the large blank border and revealing the "missing portion of the game image at the top. This worked great until i decided to use the DC6, one of the aircraft that originally previewed correctly. Now the DC6 has a large black border on top and the bottom portion of the game image is missing.
So here is my solution. Under the same Profile named FSX I have created 2 Scenes, one named DC6 and one named DC3. Each has "Game Capture" as the source. Using the EDIT SCENE to expose the full game image leave a narrow blacked border at bot top and bottom. When i fly the DC3 I use the DC3 Scene, when I fly the DC6 I use the DC6 Scene.
Now for something strange.
When I right-click on the Game-Capture and then click on properties I see the check box for "Stretch image to screen. When unchecked the game image in the preview mode is expanded - no border on left or right, very small border top and bottom. When "checked" the game image is reduced in size with a large border at left, right and bottom. Seems that what i get is the reverse of what i should get
In my profile Settings/Video the Disable Aero is not checked. When I look at my config file I see DisableAero=0 so I assume O is the NO or OFF state
[Video]
Gamma=0
Filter=0
BaseHeight=900
BaseWidth=1600
DisableAero=0
Downscale=1.500000

However, when I look at my logs it says Aero is disabled and when I analyze my logs it says Aero is disabled

Aero needs to be enabled using a windows aero theme as well as "disable aero" unchecked.

I'm talking about in-game. does each plane have their own resolution? you can also check, ignore aspect ratio in the OBS game capture if you dont mind it stretching. seeing as you dont like the black borders, I would guess you could do this.

Lastly, post your logfile like this:
