Question / Help creating Timestamps

Hello!
I'm using OBS for a few days. I'd like to cut my record by using timestamps which I create during the stream. Is there any possibility to create timestamps in a .txt by clicking a single key on my keyboard? Or is there any other possibility?

besides manually stopping/starting, I dont see a way with the current build. If there is a way, it would be a custom counter that is started with OBS and counts time with it, then "prints" the current time to a file when a hotkey is pressed.

I'm not saying its not possible but it would have to be made as a plugin
