Bug Report Crazy static in the background

Hi, i have used OBS for awhile ( i switched from xsplit ) and most of time i will get this wierd static noes in the background, i have tried what people have said on other fourm posts about it but nothing seems to work. its not my headset, and there is no other background noise when i stream other than that static so i don't believe its failure of noise suppression or something along those lines

Do you hear the static in your headset or does it only go out to stream? I know you're frustrated with it, but this noise isn't caused by the program. That much I can tell you. The program does nothing more than read the data, it does not change or add anything to the sound.

It could be interference in the port that you have your mic plugged in to, or it could be the mic itself, or it could be caused by the motherboard depending on where your mic is plugged in and what type of device it is (USB vs jack, I would know if you post the log file, which you should always do). I'm just speculating at this point, but I can tell you for sure that this is not actually a problem with the program itself because it doesn't do anything but just read the data.

Jim, no i don't hear in my headset and no one in my skype calls do as well, (when i stream with xsplit it does not happen ) and i would have posted a Log but i do not know how.
