Starting using this software this week over another and so far really like it!

However today when streaming my xbox I had some issues with crashes and not being able to keep my stream up.

I stream at a 3000 Bitrate for my xbox at 30 FPS with a 30 second delay (I have to run a delay when I stream xbox or I deal with possible stream cheaters).

Again I've ran the stream fine for the past few days with zero issues, today I noticed what appeared to be a a massive drop in frames and then the program crashed. Then it would refuse to stream again. The only temporary fix I could find was restarting my whole PC. That's the only way I could get the stream to go back up but after a while (3m maybe) I get a massive frame drop again, OBS crashes, and then wont start again. I ran speed tests and from what I can tell it isn't my internet that is the source of this.

Hm, this is very unusual, so this happened after frame dropping? Also, what do you mean by refused to stream again? Did it pop up an error? Does your internet still work and everything? You shouldn't have to restart, this sounds very wrong.

The stream wouldn't start. I would hit "Start Stream" nothing would happen, when I would try to close it that's when it would crash again. Yea internet appears to be fine, I lowered bit rate and still getting crashes.

Edit:
An update, I can't appear to get the stream to launch at all, though preview works fine. I click on start stream, the timer on the bottom left starts but nothing else responds. I've also noticed that the mic and sound levels don't respond (like it isn't picking up my mic or game sound) when I hit start stream. OBS Crashes when I try to stop the stream, go to settings, or edit scene.

I found the source of my issue, it was related to my Astro MixAmp, sometimes the mixamp driver would crash and would mess with some programs on my computer including OBS that's why it wouldn't work. Just thought I'd share, if anyone else is having this issue just turn mixamp on and off.

Thanks for posting what the issue was and the solution -- I (and perhaps others in the future) really appreciate it.
