Bug Report Crash upon un-minimizing Hearthstone on previewing

OBS crashes for me when I am previewing/streaming and I un-minimize Hearthstone. The preview screen, which should have a webcam window, a subregion of a chrome window, and hearthstone itself (fullscreened, on game capture), but it only shows the webcam with the other two sources being black. It used to be (e.g. earlier today) that when I un-minimized Hearthstone and then alt-tabbed, the black screen was replaced with the correct Hearthstone source, but now it just crashes. Any help for how to stop this crashing, as well as making so that all the sources actually appear, would be helpful.

For reference, I have Nvidia optimus, which was causing issues before since not everything was on the same video card, but I set optimus to just always use the nvidia card so theoretically that should no longer be an issue. I also just downloaded the latest drivers for the Nvidia card.

Do you have a regular log as well? Are you using monitor capture in this case? Optimus laptops have a bug with monitor capturing on windows 8+ that will sometimes cause it to crash.

The regular log is copy-pasted in the post, but I can attach it if that is helpful.

I'm not using monitor capture, here is the setup I had:

Window capture subregion of a chrome window
Webcam
Game capture of Hearthstone fullscreened

This is a crash log, Jim is referring to regular logs that you can find by clicking the open logs folder in OBS.

Yea, that's what I was referring to. Hm, everything seems to be okay in the log. Does game capture work on hearthstone? Think you could try that instead? There seems to be general driver instability there and I'm not sure why.

Sorry, I don't follow. I thought I was using game capture for hearthstone? Where is the driver instability, in hearthstone or my graphics card or what (that may be a dumb question, but I don't know what driver instability really means)?

Oh sorry, I saw the window capture and thought you were using window capture, game capture was a bit farther down. Hm, I wonder what's going on. Do you have the latest drivers?

I downloaded the latest drivers for my graphics card, are there other ones I should look to try to update/which ones?

if you were using game capture then try window capture instead to capture the window -- make sure it's running in borderless mode though. I can't really guarantee everything is going to run stable on certain laptops.
