Not sure if this is OBS or Star Citizen issue, so I'm reporting this on both forums to double the chances of solving this problem. According to a quick Google search, it seems like I'm not the only one affected by this.

Original bug report from Star Citizen forums:

Summary: Repeated crash to desktop in Squadron Battle and Vanduul Swarm co-op with OBS running before the game was launched. Instant CTD if OBS was launched with the game already running.

Version: V0.9.1.1

System Information:
Win 7 64 (always up to date)
i7-3770k
16gb DDR-1866
AMD Radeon HD 7870 2GB (CCC 14.9)
2TB SSHD

Graphics settings:
1920x1080, 1770x100, Low, Medium, High, and Very High - fullscreen, fullscreen-windowed, windowed.

Environment:
Squadron Battle (Broken Moon), Vanduul co-op (Dying Star).

Description:
The game CTDs without any message or error window when I'm trying to stream it (or even just preview the stream). If OBS was already streaming when I launch the game it seems fine at first, then during the match it starts freezing for a second and after 2-3 freezes like that it just disappears without a warning.
When I'm trying to start the stream with SC already running, it CTDs as soon as I hit the Start streaming/Preview button or when I add SC as a game capture to an empty scene. Somehow the CTD doesn't happen when racing - or I was just lucky the 3 times I tried. I have tried running the game in all sorts of gfx configurations, both x86 and x64 versions of OBS and with/without plugins installed. Doesn't matter what I do, the game just goes *poof* without a trace when OBS is trying to grab it.

Steps to Reproduce: See above - happens every single time in my case.

Repeatability: 100% after the latest patch. It didn't happen when v9.0 was first launched (that was the last time I was streaming Star Citizen).

If the game itself is crashing, it's usually a conflicting program that is somehow active on the computer. (Cue copy & paste: ) These could be other capture programs, game mods and graphics mods (sweetfx in particular), graphics card utilities like msi afterburner or the EVGA 'K boost' feature (I think it's called), or programs that put in custom in-game overlays for their program, such as teamspeak/mumble overlays, or razer overlays. If you're using "D3Dgear" (a very invasive program), you must completely completely uninstall it to fix the issue.
