Bug Report Crash after recording about an hour of game footage

Hi. I am using OBS to screen capture my laptop while my 3DS capture card is at full screen.

I just finished playing through the entire final boss and ending of Paper Mario: Sticker Star and when I went to stop the recording, it was displaying a still frame from near the start of the recording. Then I got a message saying OBS has crashed and it spit out this text:

I'm new to using OBS and obviously that is very confusing. I'm getting Mario and Luigi Paper Jam later today and I will be recording the entire game, so I'm very worried this problem will cost me large portions of gameplay footage if it happens again.

That's the only way I'm able to capture 3DS footage though, is there a bug with monitor capture or something?
