To start off i'm running the following:
Processor: i7-4790k CPU @ 4.00GHZ
Ram: 16.0 GB
OS: Windows 7 64-bit
GPU: Nvida GTX 980 Ti
Before the update for OBS recently I was running my settings at
Encoder: x264
CBR: Check
KB/s 2200
Base: 1920x1080
Downscale: 1280x720
Filter: Lanczos
FPS: 60
Disable Aero: Check
x264 CPU Preset: Medium
Encoding Profile: Main
Use CFR: Check
Had no problems running csgo and no problems running this for a solid 2 months, between CSGO/ARK/SMITE/ELGATO/GTA V, I've had no issues with FPS, High Encoding or any sort of nature. After the recent update i've had nothing but issues with OBS on high encoding problems, the FPS itself drops from 60 to 0 and fluctuates very often and causes lag issues in OBS and In-game as well as spiking to 80 CPU usage on random spurts. Any reason why this recent update could of caused any of these problems or any way to fix this, I've tried down scaling fps and lowering the cpu preset and still gain these fps drops, it happens less frequently instead of every 4 seconds it happens every 15 to 20 or so. I've updated my whole computer, reinstalled graphics drivers, reinstalled obs. still reoccurring problems. Also the kb/s sometimes go from the 2200 range up to 7000kb/s range, i think i saw it peak at 12000kb/s
Any tips on how to fix this would be amazing!
