So I just bought an other PC with an Avermedia Live Gamer Portable Lite capture card. First things first, I have a decent computer to play, however OBS is killing my FX-8350. I mean, I can stream on the veryfast preset, but I can't stand playing with low fps. That's the reason I bought an other PC with a capture card.
So the PC is kinda old, but I thought it's gonna be strong enough to deal with OBS.
Specifications: Intel Q9550 - 2.8ghz - unfortunately cannot overclock, since it's an OEM pc.
GT 740 2GB, 6GB RAM
1280x720 @ 60 FPS - Yes, 60 fps, and I wont reduce it, cuz I'm playing games like Quake and CS.
So this pc have to deal with OBS, and ONLY with OBS. However I can't even stream on the "veryfast" x264 preset, cuz I'm getting almost 100% CPU usage, which makes the stream-recording pretty laggy. Tried different settings, but can't get a decent quality with lower cpu presets, even with higher bitrates.
Any way to reduce this cpu usage without any downscaling stuff? All answers are appreciated.
