OBS maxing my cpu out to 100%

This is what I'm doing while I stream I have a dual monitor setup with my stream or twitch on my second monitor watching for viewers to post in chat or to see if lag is present. Also, I'm playing Batman: Origins Maxed out with Physx and I have a built in screen on my keyboard that monitors my cpu usage while I'm not stream I get around about 25% to 40% when I start streaming it jumps from that to 100% and stays at that amount.

So, where did you get those horrible encoding settings? They are destroying your CPU, delete them and just use the veryfast preset, please. Use the Keyframe Interval GUI option in the Advanced menus to adhere to Twitch standards, and that's all you need to do.

I did that already I'm using default everything and it's still hitting 100%.

With default settings still is hitting 100%

It's still having trouble with settings that high. Try lowering your frame rate to 30 and see how much that helps.

weak cpu forcing to stream and get gamed on also your physx is completly running of your cpu since you dont have an nvidia gpu so theres another load to your cpu so thats another part which puts load on your cpu also as already said lower your fps to 30 instead of 60

and this is an overpriced oc'ed fx 8320 or 8350 so you could save around 100 bucks but then again for some reason there are many complains about amd overall lately performing weak with obs and im not even sure why since the fx 8320/8350 should do pretty decent with at least 720p@60 and actually shouldnt run into any trouble
