Question / Help CPU hitting the ceiling any Fixes?

During my time of streaming I was using a 720p input with a facecam and subcounter but now I am using a sub alert, facecam, and 480p input. The Elgato input is at 480p now because of cpu usage it jumps to anywhere around 65pecent without streaming. I have a 2.43ghz processor and it works fine with the 480p only hitting 50% when streaming. The only problem with this is the quality output there is no in between of 720p and 480p input so I was wondering within the settings of obs if there are any known ways to drop cpu usage. I do use INTEL QUICK SYNC but I need another way to drop some quality but still look better than 480p. Will droping output ratio from 1280x720 to 1024x576 work in this manner to help. I am not on my normal pc so I have no way of posting log at the moment but when I can I will.

Like I said I can not post my log at the time but when I can I will. I also am on WiFi but it is laggy on OBS I just need to know what is the best way to lower cpu usage but still be above 480p quality.
