Question / Help Could not initialize DirectX 10 on Intel(R) HD Graphics

This error means that your integrated graphics hardware doesn't support DirectX 10, which is required for OBS to function.

If you're using a laptop, no. If you're using a desktop you could get a video card, but it may not be worth the investment if your other hardware (particularly your CPU) is underpowered.

Alright, well do you know any other free software that I could use, that accomplishes the same thing as this? Maybe not as good, but I need it bad for a job.

OBS and FFSplit both require DX10-capable hardware and are free. XSplit releases prior to 2.0 will work with DX9-capable hardware but the free version is feature-limited.

According to my computer I'm running Direct X11. Is this still a problem?
