Question / Help Could not get dxgi adapter

Through google searching, I have seen this problem crop up for multiple people. I have tried all the fixes previously mentioned. I have no 3rd party plug ins or overlays. My graphics card drivers are up to date as well. I figure this is a problem with directx but everything I try to update or re-install it says the most recent version is installed. I used to stream a lot with no problems, but this arose about a week or two ago and stops me from streaming. Would really appreciate any help! thanks!

I don't quite know why this would happen with your particular system. First, run windows update until there are absolutely n updates. Then, try http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download ... px?id=8109

If both fail to help, and you have all your drivers updated as well, then I'm just not sure unfortunately. I would probably recommend reinstalling windows entirely at that rate.

Anyone have any other suggestions? I installed win7 on a thumbdrive which I no longer have. problem arose about two weeks ago, and I have not made any changes hardware wise -_-
