Hi guys,
So I'm having this fairly common issue, but unable to resolve it.
First off, here's what I've tried so far:
1. Reinstall Drivers / DirectX, including clean install
2. Reinstalled OBS
3. Reinstalled Windows
4. Updated all Windows Updates after new install
5. Bought new video card, installed new drivers. ( wanted to anyway)
No FRAPS or other crap running.
Alright. So... Since nothing has worked, here's some context and my own thoughts on the issue.
To start, OBS worked previously with my GTX 560, mostly. Then, I bought a new video card and placed the GTX 560 on my 2nd PCI slot, b/c the other video card didn't have 2 Monitor ports. The video card was not what I wanted ( 750ti ) so I returned it. But, ever since then, I have had this issue.
Streaming / Preview Stream even worked with the 750ti after installing new drivers, but then when I put the GTX 560 back to my primary, reinstalled those drivers, I've had this issue, and been unable to use OBS.
When looking at the DirectX Diag Tool, I noticed Both Display 1 and Display 2 are showing my GTX 560. I don't know much, but that lead me to believe it was thinking my setup was SLI and that's what was bugging my OBS. (Also explains why when I had the 750ti in just a minute ago, it was working).
But.... Then I just bought the GTX 760, rather than that 750ti. Installed drivers, and it still won't work!!
DxDiag Tool Looks pretty much identical but replace 560 with 760. Shows up on Display 1 and Display 2, so I guess that intuition was way off? lol
I'm honestly out of ideas and if anyone has any thoughts on how to resolve this issue I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks so much,
Robbie
