Question / Help Could I get better quality at 720p?

Using the following settings:

- 1920 x 1080 native scaled down to 1280 x 720 (1,5x)
- 30 fps
- Bilinear
- x264
- x264 CPU Preset: Medium
- 2300 Max Bitrate
- 2600 Buffer Size
- 128 bitrate audio

Some notes:
- The game is just looking like that, ingame it got a higher resolution at things look sharp
- At 1920 x 1080 (no scaling down) it starts to lag much faster and result in lower quality.
Using fast x264 CPU preset,and lowerbitrate. 1700 / 2000 for example.

Do you know if I could get better quality or do you think it's really fine like this?

Allright, thanks, I think it's fine now. If I raise graphic settings (like AA), the stream will get some lags. Also if I raise bitrate or having a slower CPU preset.

To me it looks like this:
* higher bitrate = less pixel distiortion
* slower cpu preset = faster cleaning of distortion.

Medium x264 CPU preset cleans really fast.
