I am going to buy a new PC. For the graphic I am going to pick Nvidia Ampere later.
For the processor, this one is the tricky one.
I read so many article and forum it say that recording and streaming stuff will demand more CPU core
They say the theory is that more core means better performance, some core for the game, some for the encoding, minimise performance impact
It makes me think that Ryzen 7 3700X should be a better one
But on the other hand I read that Core i5 10600 is perform better on gaming than Ryzen 7 3700X
I also think about, "if I have Nvidia, I am going to use NVENC, then why bother buying the more expensive Ryzen 7 3700X". Am I having a correct thought on this??
FYI:
- My gaming setup will be on 1080p
- I will only play relatively lightweight game for now, like Overwatch, DOTA, CS:GO, Valorant
- My streaming target is 720p 60fps
- My recording target is 1080p 60fps 12000 - 20000 Kbps
