controlling wireless mics on single stereo receiver

Sanity check...
I have a Rode Wireless GO II (WiGO) set connected via USB to the OBS host.
This wireless mic set appears as a stereo source in OBS and has 2 mics that can be configured on the receiver as either one mic per channel (L,R) or merged (2 ch mono).
I would like to be able to control each mic separately, i.e. be able to mute one of them at any time (this can be done on the receiver unit but would be more convenient in OBS). In order to do this, I need to configure the WiGO as one mic per channel and create 2 Audio Input Capture sources, each panned fully on either L or R and set as mono, correct ? This implies that I need to copy these sources in each scene if that is what I need ? There is no way to do this using global Audio Inputs ?

Another wish would be to arbitrarily pan each of these Audio Input Capture sources (e.g. one sligthly left and the other slightly right). According to https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/split-stereo-ndi-audio-into-2-mono-tracks.167885/post-616949 this is not possible without some external hard or soft device, correct ?
