Question / Help Continuous Desyncing

I stream on Twitch using an Elgato Game Capture HD on the PS4. I use an Audio Technica AT2020, I talk to friends on Skype, and I use a webcam. I use a 3.5mm female to 2 3.5mm male splitter cable so that I can hear my computer and PS4 on one headset. I want everything to be in sync but that doesn't seem to be possible. The thing is that I got my settings to work perfectly, however as the stream progresses it desyncs. The game audio desyncs to the game video. The mic desyncs to the webcam AND game video. It just all gets awful. It has to be possible, because I've seen big streamers who use OBS do it perfectly. These pictures are my settings.
Here is the link to an example: http://www.twitch.tv/tbestiacgames/b/569038141
PLEASE HELP.

I don't see any elgato in this. Says you're using monitor capture. Capturing it via monitor capture? You should be using it with the program directly.

Also the reason for your desync is almost assuredly because you set the global sync offset in advanced. You should really not ever modify that, set that back to 0 and just use it on your mic instead.

OK. I streamed again tonight and again everything was perfect at the beginning, by the end it was all messed up. Here is the link: http://www.twitch.tv/tbestiacgames/b/569364316
And here is the log file: https://gist.github.com/f60ef36b0f064dea7968
There is an elgato on this one. I have the global sync offset to 1450 because of this forum post: https://obsproject.com/forum/resour...esktop-audio-with-elgato-game-capture-hd.106/
It all works at the beginning but it just gets awful at the end. The camera is off from the voice and the voice is to early from the game by the end. The beginning is fine, we even do a couple of tests. Thanks for the help man.

I'm having a VERY similar issue. Beginning of stream is all in sync. About a half hour later, the elgato audio is not synced with the elgato video. My voice and webcam are fine, they're synced up. What is the deal!?!

Here's the VOD from my stream tonight: The first half, the multiplayer matches are in sync. Once I transition into the Tower and do single player stuff, the audio is way off.

I do NOT have a custom global offset, mine is set to 0.

That post is only for syncing up teamspeak and desktop programs with the elgato. I do not really recommend changing your global audio offset generally. Global audio sync offset will affect all audio, and if it's not used correctly will be somewhat troublesome to configure. We have this issue fixed in the multiplatform build but it's still quite some time away.

As for the sync issue, if you're using the 2.x.x version of the software, they are apparently releasing a new 2.x.x version that fixes the syncing issue. Otherwise, if you're using the original elgato and not the HD60, then downgrade to the 1.x.x version of the software until that time.

I'm using the 1.x.x version of the software. Also I am using skype. So I have to sync skype with the elgato. Again, everything works great at the beginning but by the end it's awful. Any advice to fix the continuous desyncing until the next version of OBS?
