Question / Help Content not lined up with editing box

I have a video captured from VLC using Game Capture (as to remove the VLC window dressing), everything about the capture is fine, video quality and sound, but the editing box is in no way lined up with the content.
I have tried deleting and adding it a second time, resizing the window, and of course restarting both VLC and OBS.

I've tried using both the 32bit and 64bit versions of OBS.

Use the video source plugin instead.

Thanks I didn't think the plug-in would solve my problem but it did.

I was using VLC to capture "dshow://" as for some reason OBS's "Video Capture Device" capture was not getting audio from my Sony DSR-45 (its an ancient DVCAM recorder), and nothing else I tried besides playing it in VLC seemed to work.
