Question / Help Console + PC Sound

I stream the Wii U a lot, and I plug the Wii U HDMI into my Monitor HDMI. I then use the headphone jack on my monitor the get the audio to headphones. My issue is that when I am playing on the Wii U, I can hear all of the Wii U sounds, but nothing from my computer (music, ect). Is there a way I can get both audio into my headphones? How do the console streamers listen to music while streaming console games and hear both?

They usually have second pair of inear headphones underneath their headset.
From my experience using MiniJack splitter and connecting it to two sources doesn't work well.

Some time ago I wanted to do the same with my console but the result was only right speaker of headset working when using MiniJack splitter to connect headset to both PC and PS3.

Maybe there exists external sound card that let's you do that but I don't know about any.
