Hey everyone, I have been looking everywhere for an answer to this as my stream time starts at 12pm EST. I'm kind of looking for a quick response if possible. I have been streaming for months now with no issues in OBS or anywhere outside of my limits PC wise. Suddenly today I was streaming early and all of a sudden 2hrs in my connections in OBS drops out.

I had no issues before for months on this connection I have a 90/10 connection and run at a 3500 bitrate everyday. So when I say this is not normal it's not I stream everyday like this for weeks and so on. I checked my speeds else where it all seems fine. My pings in all games I play are where they should be no higher no lower. I also tried streaming to hitbox as I am a twitch guy to see if that was the issue.

I tried to post a log but it said it was to long =[. Anyways I would appreciate anyone help in this any info I can give I'm ready!

EDIT also OBS since then will not close properly. It will stall out when I hit stop stream taking it a while to begin responding if at all. I tried reinstalling as well really quick and never changed anything.

I appreciate that but I've already gone through that, it's pretty much basic. I think it's something outside this realm. I did everything on the list minus the faulty hardware. As I said everything else is running at normal peak conditions. Only thing lagging back is OBS.

The problem is with your ISP if you've exhausted the troubleshooting steps on the list.

Okay well I doubt it is the ISP. EVERYTHING works fine but OBS. In good faith I called them and chewed out a poor guy over it. Through his tests and my tests there is no issue anywhere, except on OBS. I even yelled at em about throttling the connection. I find it very hard to be the ISP but if that's all there is for you to offer I guess it's a done deal then.

Hello,
I am having almost the same exact problem. Although if i load OBS and hit preview stream everythings fine 40fps 3500 kb/s.
As soon as i go to live streaming my kb/s hovers from 0- 1200 ish kb/s and just drops frames. When I hit end stream OBS will start not responding and take awhile to come back. My next step is to call my ISP but i saw this and wanted to share.

Fixed it myself. Tried Disabling Aero fixed everything. It was always unchecked not sure how it reverted or how it mattered but that fixed it for me. NOT THE ISP thanks for including that in your suggestions may want to update it. Hope it helps Monoxide. OBS is lucky i feel OBS>XSplit
