Compiling and Installing in Debian

Hi, I've got a problem with compiling it for Debian. I did everything like here, but on the last step (checkinstall), I have output like this:

Makefile:582: recipe for target 'cmake_check_build_system' failed make: *** [cmake_check_build_system] Segmentation fault

**** Installation failed. Aborting package creation.

What should I do about that?
