Re: CLR Browser Source Plugin (New 64bit version, needs test

Can you provide the swf and settings you used? The 64bit is hot off the press so I'm not surprised there are errors, but I could use a test case

sorry i messed up :) accidently changed the looping option instead of the singleproc option in the runtime settings. except for my human error everything works like a charm so far :D tested a few things and will be doing a lot more testing for the 64bit version over the course of the weekend...

great work and thanks a lot for the quick reply!

Re: CLR Browser Source Plugin (New 64bit version, needs test

Amazing plugin! Very happy with it.
Just have a question:

When I switch scenes, it seems that my flash either :
A) Doesn't reload
or
B) Doesn't even load

I was wonder if this is something can be changed in the settings or if it's a plugin limitation.
Hope this thing goes further, because I've made so many things for it already.

Thanks, Redback93

works fine for me (latest stable version, 64bit). do you load the flash content locally or from a web source? i'd guess your problem is prolly more of a connection issue or in case you do load from a local source maybe there is some issue with local sources?

i've tested all kinds of sources with this plugin yesterday. Twitter feeds, youtube and other flash video sources and players, various swf sources like clocks, counter etc. (local and from web), webchats, weather widgets, and pretty much anything else i could think of :) All worked fine...

The only problem i ran into is that it crashes everytime I want to exit OBS, since i setup a couple scenes that are pretty browser plugin heavy. Gonna edit this post and append the log output asap.

edit: here is the log output

it only crashes on exit if one of the scenes containing browser plugin content has been active and streamed/previewed.

Let me know in case you want the dump aswell Faruton.

Re: CLR Browser Source Plugin (New 64bit version, needs test

From the crash it looks like you are using the 64bit version.

That is still pretty alpha (both in CEF and my own plugin), so expect some rough waters before it gets stable.

I'll look into the crash (I was able to get it myself)

if all alphas would be this good the world would be a better place

Here's my crash log below - this is for the latest 64bit version. CLRBrowserSourcePlugin64Mark2

Note that the x64 plugin works fine on one of my other PC's.... both running win7x64. If the delete the plugin, then OBSx64 starts up just fine, if i have the plugin in the folder, i get this crash on startup.

Re: CLR Browser Source Plugin (New 64bit version, needs test

That almost seems like a bad installation of .net, hard to tell from the dump

Thanks for the feedback though!

I haven't done much testing with 4.0 (only 4.5), but theoretically it should work

Hey, for whatever reason the plugin is unable to load twitch.tv chat, is there something unsupported for the moment or is that a problem on my end?:)

this is due to a CEF offscreen rendering limitation (i think Faruton already mentioned it in some earlier post), but there are various ways to get twitch chat overlayed on your stream.

If you want to do it with this plugin, you could f.e. use a IRC webchat that connects to twitch irc and add it as browser source.

Re: CLR Browser Source Plugin (New 64bit version, needs test

The problem with using IRC directly in any kind of overlay, is spam/deleted messages don't get handled correctly. It requires the stream to handle via refresh/clear chat history. This is the problem people are looking to solve via embedded browser twitch chat.

Awesome.

Anyone know if it's possible to have the username show on every line, or is that something the plugin would have to support? I tried signing up to that forum, but it had a DB error.

How do I install this?

I assume not the same way as the other plugins I have put into the 64 bit folder?

Nothing "browser" related is showing up to add.

You need to put the contents into the plugins folder, just as any other plugin
Once done you'll have an 'CLR Browser' option when adding sources
