(Sorry if this is too long of a thread, one of the first times ever posting on a forum.)
Hello. For the longest time out of my video making career, I have been using OBS, and have been recording at 1080p, but setting the resolution downscale to 1536x864, and had the bitrate at a very high amount, starting at 3,500, then slowly went up to 10,000, and then ended up going to 100,000 without having any difficulties whatsoever. Just recently I had noticed that I had resolution downscale at 1536x864, so I decided to change that, and to keep the recording at 1080p in the end, and keeping the bitrate at 3,500. My game runs decent while playing, sometimes being affected while recording with OBS, but it normally is not an issue. However, whenever I go back and watch the footage to edit it, there are sections of the recordings where it constantly is freezing and unfreezing. It happened in games such as Grand Theft Auto V, PAYDAY 2, and even CS:GO. I don't know why my footage comes out like this, as I have a pretty good PC. Not sure if I'm crazy, but I feel as though the footage should come out great.
PC Specs:
GPU: Asus Strix GTX970
CPU: Intel i7-4790
RAM: HyperX Fury 16GB
My friend had once told me that maybe my motherboard can be an issue with recording, so that may actually be the problem, as it is a pretty cheap and small MB. Not sure with this either if the motherboard can affect my gaming experience as well as the recordings, but for those who are curious, my motherboard is the Gigabyte LGA 1150 Intel H81 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Micro ATX DDR3 GA-H81M-DS2V.
Any help would be appreciated, or an explanation as to why my recording comes out sloppy in some games, and I wish you all a wonderful day, thank you!
Wasn't really understanding the whole "[ code]" thing to place the OBS logs into it, so here is just a link to the github upload instead: https://gist.github.com/anonymous/1a7325e2468588a5f6c4
