Question / Help Capturing PS4 on other monitor

So my current setup is my ps4 is connected to an Acer gaming monitor through HDMI and then my Acer monitor and mac are connected together through a VGA cable and when I try using Obs to capture the other monitor, it capture my desktop, what put out through the VGA cable, how do I fix this

You need a blackmagic or magewell capture card to capture ps4 on mac. The way you're trying to connect everything physically will NEVER work. The monitor doesn't feed what it's showing to the computer. That's why you get the extended desktop and not the ps4.
