Question / Help Capturing Diablo 2

Has anyone been successful in capturing Diablo 2? I've tried everything (Including Dxtory with OBS).

Did you try enabling Aero, running D2 in a window and simply capturing that window? I'm willing to re-install D2 and give it a try, just let me know if you need a hand.

Window Capturing definitely does work using the method Kharay just described. Create a shortcut to D2 on your desktop, right click the shortcut and select properties, add -window to the end of the target line and you're good to go

I can confirm that it's possible to capture Diablo 2 gameplay with OBS, I've done it myself as seen here.

Just set the game to windowed mode and use window capture and you're good to go!

So this is a bit old, but I'm bumping this to see if I can get help. No matter if I run D2 in windowed mode or not, any time I try to alt-tab out, it minimizes the D2 window, and OBS won't pick up the window to capture it. What can I do?

So the issue I was having was that it wasn't updated to 1.13d. So once I updated it, it worked like a charm. Thanks though!
