Question / Help Capturing a Skype Call While Recording

I was just wondering if I could add a skype video box of someone else that I'm on a video chat with? Would video and audio be present in the final recording? I was planning on recording the audio in Audacity while I do this if possible. I have a USB mixer hooked up to my computer and wanted that to go into audacity to record me, along with the skype call being recorded in audacity at the same time. If that's not possible, is there a way to make this work?

Thanks!

The audio should always be captured (though it's more your desktop audio in general). The video will only be captured if you capture the window.

Hmmmm... I just did a test. I made a scene with 2 sources... My webcam and the skype window. When I was not connected on a video call through skype, it showed me and a smaller box with skype in the corner. Once we connected and I started recording, my webcam wasn't showing in the scene. Once I stopped the call and looked at the scene, my webcam was back. Maybe only one program can use the webcam at once? If that's the case, is it just impossible to have my webcam on the screen with someone calling me on skype via video chat in a smaller box simultaneously?

Also, in audacity, it did record my voice through my USB mixer, but it would not record the person I was chatting to on skype. Which I think I've heard in the past is just how it is. I wish there was a way around that. But regarding the video in the first paragraph, does anyone know if that's possible? Thanks!
