Hey Guys.

Im Currently running this setup for livestreaming:

Q6600 @ 3,84Ghrz
8GB Ram @ 850
GTX 650Ti @ 1050/3200

using Nvenc 4000kbit/s Bluray
1600x900 30fps

Im looking for options to improve my overall quality while on a limited budget.

Option 1:
Avermedia Livegamer HD Lite, which is basicly the same card than the non lite but without the hotbutton (which i dont need)
Same as nvenc i can use my current setup while free CPU load compared to cpu encoding.

around 90 Euros

Option 2:
Intel Xeon E3-1231v3 4x 3.40GHz
ASRock Fatal1ty Z87
8GB Corsair Vengeance Black DDR3-1600

around 440 Euros

So its basicly CPU encoding on a Xeon E3 vs Capturecard while saving money.
Without the Performance loss on videocapture i have no issues with my old Q6600 as it runs just about everything i play as smooth as my 60hz monitor can display.

what you guys think about the quality differences and the overall quality i get per Euro. Basicly as im not the one who can just buy a 4k Dollar pc every week i do need to care about the stuff i buy.

You can not use the Live Gamer HD's Hardware Encoder with OBS. So you will not be able to offload any CPU usage that way if you want to keep using OBS. The encoder will also probably either produce the same quality as nvenc or even lower your stream quality further.
In general, seeing your Q6600, I personally would say its about time to update your system. For streaming I would at least recommend one of the latest i5 or i7's. So your Xeon E3 would work perfectly.
