The Livegamer HD can record 1080p (from any source) at 30 frames per second (which is still awesome to watch by any stretch of the imagination).
Excellent, but I'm still not seeing it anywhere near as cheap as you suggested.

HDMI or DVI actually make no big difference in general. Only downside of DVI is that you cannot send sound. But please dont make it too complicated, you linked a picture for a 3-PC setup.

That is an example for a simple 2-PC setup. Either a HDMI or DVI cable goes from PC1 to the recording PC2 and its capture card. HDMI to DVI or DVI to HDMI cables can be used if necessary.
Yep, if you have two DVI outputs, or you get a HDMI to DVI cable and use a HDMI out of your graphics card, or DP to DVI.
For HDMI you can get a cheap splitter, but on a 2-PC Setup you can use the clone/duplicate options of Windows or your GPU and safe that money unless you need all the outputs of your GPU.
HDMI and DVI are essentially the same thing, at this point. It's just a different plug on the end. You can get a $7 pin-to-pin passive adapter if you don't have one lying around, and boom, DVI becomes HDMI.Big thx, guys!
But i think i'm stupid =) Because I'm a little confused =) ) ) )
With HDMI capture card I could understand how all is connected , but a DVI capture card , I'm confused . Someone could write me a schematic , since I really dumb , which is now all be connected and how , if I do not want to duplicate the monitor.
Ouch. That $200 Yuan SC512 I linked above was in-stock earlier today. Sabre seems to get regular shipments of them, if waiting a bit is possible. Component to HDMI converters exist, but good-quality ones aren't cheap. I'd really, really recommend waiting if you can.If I may ask something unique to my situation... I may very well only want a capture card for Wii and Wii U. I also have my Wii hooked up with component cables. Quite frankly, the Micomsoft is well more expensive than I'd be able to budget. Is there a cheaper PCI interface card that would do the simple capturing I would need? Even if a card only has an HDMI in, there'd surely be a converter to get that from component I'd assume.
DVI absolutely DOES carry sound. It's a misconception that it doesn't as many DVI monitors simply don't make a provision for getting the sound out (such as built-in speakers or a headphone jack), but the standard 100% supports embedded audio over DVI.HDMI or DVI actually make no big difference in general. Well, a Belgian store carries them for 92€ plus shipping, which is where I live :pExcellent, but I'm still not seeing it anywhere near as cheap as you suggested.
