Question / Help Can't stream at all

So, i just got a game capture card and its all hooked up and works fine so i got OBS to stream to Twitch.tv and it told me to install DirectX 10 and i tried but it instead installed 9.0 and now OBS tells me i can't stream without 10. Any ideas how i can resolve this? and i am using a Dell Inspiron 15 with intel pentium dual core processor, please help.

Please include the exact error you get. Most likely you do not have a DX10 capable graphics card so you cannot use OBS.

It says could not initialize DirectX10 which i have figured out is due to not having a capable graphics card. Most likely this is because it is a laptop i am running the program on, is there a program i can use instead of DirectX or do i just have to get an external graphics card that can run it?

OBS doesn't currently run on certain laptops unfortunately -- however we are going to hopefully fix the problem in the rewrite (or at least I'm going to attempt it)
