Question / Help Can't stream anymore due to low encoding FPS

A while ago, I started to use second (older) GPU in OBS studio to stream with nice 30-45 fps at 1440p.

other example - first try of that setup with specs in describtion

But I have no idea since when,
Whenever i try to record or stream, OBS fps dropps to 10 and are unwatchable, while in game i maintain 70-80 without any problem.
0 skipped frames, just LOW fps encoded

This i recorded today

it was set to be 60 FPS, but in OBS window it shown drops to ~15 and it looks terrible

What changed? Still used exact same settings i did in october.

It doesn't matter if i encode on main gpu, or secondary gpu.
Its even worse if i try to encode with cpu (4790k)

You gain nothing but problems and interop issues with your mixed gpu setup. NVenc uses dedicated chips on Nvidia GPUs, so you do not lose any performance from it beside the bandwidth needed to transfer the images from the card (which is also needed when using the 2nd GPU for encoding).

But this doesn't answer why something that worked flawlessly suddenly stopped. + using 970 for encoding highly improved my game fps while recording back then.

I'll test tomorrow. Sleep time now

Tried, No changes, still drops encoding fps to sub 20. i barely get 30 when i switch to 1080p @ 30 fps and half bitrate that i used before.

Also getting stutter in game

Just this

or while attempting to stream?

Do another test stream of at least 5-10 minutes, and upload the full clean log including the timing breakdown tree at the end so we can pinpoint where the issue is coming from. Also, disable GPU compatibility mode; it's no longer needed with that 970 out of the system, and tends to cause weird problems in general from the troubleshooting I've done before.

gonna need a bit explaining, on what you meant by timing breakdown tree , and what compatibility mode setting? where is it?

I finished my shift at work now, so can work on it bit more tomorrow, after good night sleep.

This is log form few minutes stream i just did doing daily in the division

video should be avaible by tomorow, YT takes tremendous amount of time to finish 'processing' it
