Question / Help Cant Record EAC Games? Anti-Cheat Compatibility Help

My obs will not record any game with EAC at all, i have tried everything- running OBS as admin (this is all with anti cheat compatibility hooking enabled) and then running the game in admin as well. Then i tried running the game first- and obs second- didnt work. I restarted computer multiple times, uninstalled/reinstalled OBS multiple times- am unable to use window capture ( it doesnt detect my game as a window as i play in fullscreen) can anyone help?

Get the game developer to get OBS whitelisted

What? The game developers have nothing to do with it. Eac is the anti cheat many games use and according to the EAC website OBS should be a whitelisted application for EAC. However i cannot seem to make it work

Just because you aren't getting errors, it doesn't mean the OBS logs won't show where the problems are.

Hook Conflict. Something else (another overlay for example) is causing a problem.

The only open programs that i have open while recording is - steam, skype, google chrome, and OBS, I know steam has an overlay could that be a problem?

The steam overlay CAN cause issues.

As can Razer synapse, other overlay programs and other recording programs.

I have disabled steam overlay- didn't seem to help im still getting a hook error and i am not using any other external recording programs
