Question / Help Can't preview or stream

I downloaded and installed OBS today. The installer worked and as far as I know the program installed correctly. The program works as it should, except when I try to stream or preview the stream it gives me an error that I
do not have DirectX 10 installed
or
it is not compatible with my GPU
I am running a Windows 7 netbook with DirectX 11 installed. Do I have to downgrade to DirectX 10 for OBS to work, or is it just not compatible at all? Thanks!

Error: Could not initialize DirectX 10 on Intel(R) Graphics Media Accelerator 3150. This error can happen for one of the following reasons:

1.) Your GPU is not supported (DirectX 10 is required - note that many integrated laptop GPUs do not support DX10)
2.) You're running Windows Vista without the "Platform Update"
3.) Your video card drivers are out of date

If you are using a laptop with NVIDIA Optimus or AMD Switchable Graphics, make sure OBS is set to run on the high performance GPU in your driver settings.
