Bug Report Can't launch the software

As I attempt to launch the installer it tells my I need to install missing DirectX files. I already have the most updated DirectX files so that is not the problem. I can't run the Zip file either, it says I'm missing a d3dcompiler_43.dll file. What am I supposed to do to fix this?

I've done it and it doesn't work.. The setup reinstalls all the files nice and clean but as I start the installer it tells me I'm missing DirectX files. As I run the Zip file it tells me the same thing as before. If you have any more ideas, please share! :)

d3dcompiler_43.dll? OBS doesn't need that in particular, it uses D3DX for its shader compilation. I'm quite confused here. This feels like a very unusual error, especially if you downloaded that installer from microsoft sapiens linked.

Sounds like you have bigger issues on your system. Try to get your DirectX install working first, then install OBS.
