Question / Help Can't install

I get the error "Due to extensive use of DirectX 10 features, OBS requiers Open Windows Vista SP2 or higher and cannot be installed on this version of windows." I have windows 8.1, my Dx is updated, and have used many different programs to check that, what could it be? I have my dxdiag txt file attached to this. pls help

Make sure you aren't trying to run the installer in compatibility mode or something.

I'm not, it asked me to try it after it failed, but it didn't go through with or without.

Wow, a simple run as administrator fixed this (facepalm), not sure why it would cause that error though.
