Question / Help Cant Install OBS, said missing required runtime

I want to install OBS on my dell Laptop and when i click the installer it said

Your system missing required runtime that OBS need

i know it requires Visual C++ 2013, i have it installed before, but when installing it keep said the same message, so i install net framework 4.6 but still have same message. How to fix this?

Yeah there was also a fix that you run that auto fixes the issue, a DXFix app https://obsproject.com/forum/resources/directx-dependency-fixer-dxfix.87/

NM I found the answer in an old post.

Answer for me was By admin

"Make sure you installed both x86 and x64 redistributables."

and it worked! I was only installing 64bit
