Question / Help Can't Capture Dota 2 or WoW

Hey all,

I've tried Game Capture and Window Capture and Monitor capture, yet I still can't get either Dota 2 or WoW to appear in my stream. I'm running Windows 8, any suggestions of what I can try/ what other information do y'all need to diagnose? Thanks!

This is the most recent log from when I tried to stream WoW, and OBS changes from Window not found when WoW isn't running to that going away, but still I'm not getting any picture to stream.

Ah, you're on a laptop, and OBS is loading up on your integrated graphics card instead of your dedicated graphics card. OBS needs to run on the same GPU as the game in order to use game capture correctly. Try this: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=5965

So I tried everything in the above thread to no avail. Both OBS and the game (in this case WoW) or running on the same Nvidia card and I'm running OBS as Administrator. Here's the log from my most recent run:

This particular error:
Warning -- D3D10Texture::CreateFromSharedHandle: Failed to open shared handle, result = 0x80070057

Is usually the result of older drivers, or third party software such as VirtuVMP. Generally, something is interfering with game capture. If you have VirtuMVP or something similar, turn it off.
